Taking the I Follow Movement Forward
Colleen over at GeekySpeaky.com is taking the I Follow Movement one step further. She has started the D List. It’s a complete list of all the blogs that use the dofollow plugin, and you can gain some great traffic, by joining the list, and commenting on these blogs.
***Begin to copy here***
1. Write a short paragraph at the beginning of your post and link back to the blog that put you on the list in the paragraph. This isn’t a suggestion. You need to break up the duplicate content. Someone took the time to add you so the least you can do is give them an extra link back.
2. Copy the list of originals below COMPLETELY and add it to your blog. If you would like a different keyword for your blog then change it when you do your post and it should pass to most blogs with that keyword.
3. Take the adds from the blog that added you and place them in the “Originals” list.
4. Add at least 1 new blog that you KNOW us using the DO FOLLOW plugin to the list in the “My Adds” section. (Add no more than 5!) Let the people you’ve added know, so that they can keep the list going!
My Adds:
Tricia’s Musings
Ugh!!’s Greymatter Honeypot
The Originals:
Midlife Musings
Utterly Geek
Whatever I Feel Like
My Dandelion Patch
Surviving NJ
GeekySpeaky
Simple Kind Of Life
3DayMom
BuyMeBlog
The Hockey Dad

LOL ok I’ll do the D-List too. I’ll add Meridith to mine and I’m trying to figure out who else to add … LOL
That’s cool Tricia! You can check out Randy Clay’s blog that I linked to also. His comments are filled with people.

Nice idea, My blog doesn’t add nofollow to comments.
Blogger needs to get in on the doFollow thing.
LOL
I’ma do this, and see if I get it right. I prolly won’t. But oh wells.
Rinsem’s Rink Follows!
I’m kind of dumb regarding things like tracking and stuff…do I copy if I’m not on the list or do I add myself? I’m sort of confused.
I would think you can add yourself to my list then post it. The more the merrier, and the D List train will just have a new offshoot. Just make sure to link GeekySpeaky since she was the one that started it!
Great idea! Thanks for helping everyone out! I am not very savvy with this kind of thing but I’ll try it.
Sounds great, I’ll check them out!

have joined the d-list and just wanted you to get your link from my site. Can you tell that I have no idea how this works?
It’s for blogs that don’t use the nofollow in their comments. So when someone comments with their URL it gives them credit as a link. The Dofollow plugin is for Wordpress blogs, but I think you can remove the line of code on your blogspot blog that reads nofollow. Actually if you are doing any paid posting, you probably don’t have it because most companies wouldn’t approve your blog if you did.
Hope that helps!
Hey, I’m new here. I’m excited to join the rest of you doing the blog thing. Thanks to some great friends (Stephanie and Robyn) I feel like I am progressing with the learning process quiet steadily. I can’t wait to learn more and join the ranks of the “elite bloggers.” See you around!
Thanks for the comment! I love your blog name:)

Loving the movement!
Recipe4Living’s blog, Chew on That is now rocking the dofollow (with the help of Randa’s wonderful icons).
Keep it up everyone!
Right on Caley!
Excellent! This is a great movement to encourage blog participation…kudos.
First time here. You have a nice template.
I have seen people using no follow even in blogroll, meaning, if only i like a specific post, i ll link it and hence give the credit.
This is getting some what — i would say, because, it just invites comments and not readers. And i sense a distinction between the two.
Very Nice, I will be adding myself to this list as well. Thanks for the information.
i have recently installed the do follow plugin. How do i get myself on do follow lists?
my site is

hi.. i new to blogger.. and have a few question…
1. how do you remove no follow link
2.how do you setup the thing on you site..
my site is http://teachme-buzz.blogspot.com/
turnthescrew.com is now officially following. Just wondering how I get this all correct. Someone ads me to the D-List, I then link back to them, and then I add a few more dofollow links to the list in a post?
If this is correct…how to i find other sites with the dofollow plugin?
tnx.
Can you please guide me how can i do that….
